Students travel through bodies to learn about being healthy

Tuesday, October 8, 2013 - 7:59pm

Students at Meadowview Elementary in Bossier City got a chance to see what happens inside the body, all from walking through a larger than life body.

LSU Ag Center's Body Walk welcomes students by having them walk into a giant head to see and talk about how the brain works. From there, they walk into the mouth, where they learn about what sugar does to teeth. Students continue traveling through the body, stopping along the way to learn what each part does,

This exercise is intended to show students how their food and exercise choices impact their bodies and in turn their lives.
