Suspect wanted in connection with Burlingame slaying
Shreveport LA (KMSS) - — A local teen is now being sought by authorities in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred last week in west Shreveport.
Back on March 2, 2013, Shreveport Police officers responded to a home in the 7000 block of Burlingame Boulevard relative to reports of a shooting. The shooting, which injured three people and ultimately claimed the life of 18 year old Chauncey Broadway Jr, has since been under investigation by Shreveport Police Violent Crimes investigators. This morning, authorities were successful in procuring a warrant for the arrest of 17 year old Ravion Alford of Shreveport, charging him with principal to second degree murder. Information gathered during the course of the investigation has linked Alford to the shooting.
Based on information gathered during the course of the ongoing investigation, authorities uncovered information that led to the arrest of a 15 year old male who was charged with principal to second degree murder along with six additional counts of attempted second degree murder. The juvenile was booked into the Caddo Parish Juvenile Detention Center.
