Shreveport, LA (KMSS) — A pair of alleged armed robbers may face multiple felony charges after their arrest Wednesday morning in north Shreveport.
It happened around 10:30 a.m., Shreveport Police officers were called to the 1900 block of North Market Street for an armed robbery that had occurred at the Show Show.
On arrival, officers contacted employees who told them that two men entered the store with partial covers over their faces and they were armed with handguns.
The men ordered the clerk to hand over cash from the register before leaving the business on foot.
Officials searched the area, with the help of K-9 units, police came to a home in the 1700 block of Pointe Coupee Drive.
Police mad contact with the owner who granted officers access to the residence.
Once inside, officers found two men who matched the description of the suspects in the robberies.
Police also discovered clothing items described as worn by one of he suspects in the trash behind the home.
Two guns were also found along with several bundles of cash stowed inside a couch.
Police arrested Frederick McKinley, 19, and Cadarius O'Neal, 19, and later took them to Shreveport City Jail.
Authorities were also able to find additional evidence linking both suspects to at least three other armed robberies, all of which occurred in close proximity to the others.
At this time McKinley and O'neal face four counts of armed robbery.
