UPDATE: $1K reward offered for information about Winbush murder case
BOSSIER CITY — UPDATE: Bossier Crime Stoppers is offering a $1000 reward to anyone who can provide information to police that leads to an arrest in the murder 21-year old Ieshia Winbush.
Winbush’s body was found inside a house in the 600 block of Patton Street late Sunday night after police and fire department personnel responded to the scene in reference to a shooting. Her death marks the second homicide in Bossier City for 2012.
Anyone with information about this homicide is asked to call Bossier Crime Stoppers at (318) 424-4100. They can also submit a web or text tip via the Bossier Crime Stoppers website – www.bossiercrimestoppers.org. Persons who contact Crime Stoppers are reminded they may remain totally anonymous.
ORIGINAL STORY: Police are still searching for a suspect in the murder of a young woman.
At around 10:20 last night, Bossier City Police responded to a call for a shooting and found 21 year old Ieshia Winbush dead inside her home in the 600 block of Patton St. Police are investigating this death as a homicide.
Many neighbors say the woman hadn't lived in the neighborhood long, but the quiet neighborhood changed after she and others moved in. One neighbor said that police were called to the home quite often.
Bossier City Police are still investigating this murder and are staying tight-lipped through the investigation.
