The U.S. Army flag was in the Ark-La-Tex for the second time this month Thursday. After driving from Dallas late Wednesday night, the flag stopped at Louisiana State Police's Bossier City office for about 12 hours.

Since September 2001, the Honor Flag has traveled the world and space to pay tribute to those who have lost their lives in the line of duty protecting others

After leaving Bossier City, the flag was escorted to the state line by Louisiana State Police, before driving on to Enterprise, Mississippi, where Police Chief Randy Boykin was killed Tuesday morning.
