Vivian man arrested on attempted 1st degree murder charge
Vivian, La (KMSS) — A Vivian man is accused of being connected to a shooting that took place last weekend in north Caddo Parish.
On Friday morning, sheriff investigators arrested Robert Sean Gregory, 30, on a search warrant in the 200 block of California. His twin brother, John Michael Gregory, is also wanted by the Sheriff’s Office but is still at large.
Detectives were able to locate and seize ammunition and a shotgun from the house.
The shooting happened Feb. 2 near the corner of Bailey and Pardue streets in Vivian. Willie Wilson, 28, of Vivian, was shot in the buttocks and was treated and released from a local hospital.
Investigators believed the incident was caused by an argument earlier in the day between Wilson and John Gregory. The Gregorys returned armed a short time later and fired shots into the air and at a house on the 300 block of S. Pardue, where Wilson was sitting on the steps. Bullets also hit a passing vehicle that was occupied by Wilson’s family members.
Robert Sean Gregory was booked into the Caddo Parish Jail on attempted 1st degree murder.
Anyone with information about the location of John Michael Gregory is asked to contact Det. Morgan with the Sheriff’s Office at 675-2170 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
