Shreveport, La — During the holiday season, people are filled with holiday cheer and come to volunteer at places like the Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission. But when the holiday season leaves, so do many of the volunteers.
The Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission is open every day of the year, and serves more that 200 people meals every day.
Along with food and shelter, the mission also helps people get their lives back on track, offering both career and spiritual guidance to all their members.
But in serving so may people, and in so many different capacities, volunteers of all sorts are needed.
