Weekend shooting leaves one man fighting for his life

A local man is fighting for his life after a weekend shooting.

Just after 9:00 p.m. Saturday night, Shreveport Police were called to the 4200 block of Greenwood Lane with information of a man who had been shot there.

On arrival, police met with the victim, Will Rogers Robinson, 23, who was suffering from two gunshot wounds to the stomach.

Information was gathered while in the parking lot of the Village Square Apartments where at least one person described a truck had fired multiple shots in the direction of Robinson.

After the shooting, the vehicle was found leaving the parking lot at a high rate of speed.

Robinson was taken to a local hospital where his injuries were later reported potentially life threatening.
