A Bossier City man faces charges of aggravated rape after police say he had sex with a 12-year-old girl. 18-year-old Miguel Ortega was arrested on Wednesday after the girl's mother called police.

New fire burning in Vivian

A new woods fire is burning in Caddo Parish. The large, uncontrolled blaze is threatening homes 1 1/2 miles from Vivian near Vivian and Cross Creek Roads. Three fire districts are on the scene and say the fire has grown rapidly.
