Shreveport Police capture burglars

Police responded to a burglary call in 5700 Block of Beinville Avenue in Shreveport around 1254 p.m today which lead to a two hour man search.

A suspicious car was stopped in the 5200 block of Prentiss Avenue in connection with the burglary shortly after; The Stop which lead to the alleged suspects Victor Johnson and Roderick Vinson both of Shreveport fleeing the vehicle around 130pm.

That lead to a two hour manhunt on foot for Shreveport police officers, but thanks to the help of the k-9 unit the suspects were located.

The suspects did suffer minor dog bite injuries and were taken to LSU Medical for treatment. No other injuries were reported.

The investigation is still on going.

i was wondering why the police was flying down the streets on almost hit me when i was in te drvie way. i am glad that they caught them because ny house got broke into 2011 right before christmas and they didnt do anything about it.....
