A small explosion injured two people at Shreveport's Finest barbershop, located in the 2200 block of Jewella Ave. Fire officials tell us they were called out to the location around 1:30pm.

EMS transported a 52-year-old man to a local hospital with what officials called non-life threatening.

“A 25-year-old woman was also treated at the scene for cuts to the head and wrist from a window that blown out in the explosion,” Said Shreveport Fire Department spokesman Scott Wolverton.
